RNLI Praises Holiday Park's Charitable Donation

4/17/2009

Kelling Heath Holiday Park in North Norfolk has been praised by the Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI) after donating the sum of £2,404 to Cromer Lifeboat Station following a series of successful fundraising events held by the Park’s residents.

Kelling Heath’s Park Manager, Mark Durrant commented: “The Park and its residents had a fantastic time raising the money through a variety of events, including dinner dances, quiz nights and golf days. We agreed to donate the money raised to Cromer RNLI because it is a very worthy cause and they do an excellent job of ensuring the safety of those at sea and close to the surrounding coastline.”

Richard Leeds, Life Boat Operation’s Manager for Cromer RNLI, said: “Kelling Heath has done a fantastic job in raising this sum of money and we are delighted that they chose to donate it to us. If it was not for the generosity of fundraisers like Kelling Heath then it would not be possible for us to operate at the high standard we consistently achieve.”
